Fitters vs. Pokers

I was just perusing the photos and enjoying the contortions, and think you all are great at what you do! Give yourselves a pat on the back. (If anyone can do so, it'll be you.)

But I couldn't help but notice that some of you were able to achieve complete entry, while others left a major body part remaining outside the appliance, "poking out" in the common parlance. Surely, to achieve complete enclosure must be the goal, yes?

Gold Stars for the Fitters! Their extra effort and/or lack of limb length ought to be recognized.

I finally have my bunny costume and I'd like to go on an appliance contortioning rampage with like freaks.

I'd also rampage with monkeys, kitties or small fuzzy bears.

But no newts. Absolutely not.

Who's your bunny?!

Last night I failed to make it into a dryer.

I almost got in but my head just wouldn't go.
I can't figure out if I've lost my flexibility or I just wasn't drunk enough. I've been in this particular very small dryer before so I know I can do it.

I need some consolation people.

I have a new round of bruises and scrapes and nothing to show for it.

Maybe I should resign and just coach new appliance contortionists...

i heard this on the radio yesterday, and thought this might be of interest to you (i couldn't resist starting another thread)

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/tv_and_radio/3639641.stm

quote:

A TV trailer showing comic Johnny Vegas sitting in a fridge has been criticised after complaints it could encourage children to copy him.

... The BBC said it felt the situation was so unrealistic, and the comic purpose so plain, that it was extremely unlikely to prompt copycat actions.

But a spokesman for the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents said the trailer was potentially dangerous.

"There have been lethal accidents involving children in freezers," he said.

First, let me say, this is very dangerouse, so, AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!

Second, let me say, this is very mean to do to pets... and now that I've releaved myself of any feelings of guilt:

Idea # 1.) Pets in appliences! [I'm not saying you should microwave your poor little pet hampster, or throw your dog in a wood-chipper.] However, kitties and doggies sitting peacefully inside a dryer, or your pet rat looking out from inside a martini shaker would be very cute in my opinion!

Idea # 2.) Refrigerators, what a wonderful photo-op!!!!

Dryer number 9 was conquered last Friday night at approximately 3am. It was a stealth operation with most revelers at the dryer local looking on with puzzled faces.

I dryer climbed for its own sake,
no photographic evidence was recorded.

However, I do have two witnesses if there is ever any question of the truth of Dryer Climb #9.

It was a tough dryer, very small, and caused much bruising,
which I now know is the true test of a dryer for me.

So I may be slowing down to protect my stupid bruisey body,
but I will never stop!

Yma, of the dryers
